Carl Greenhous' English bull terrier, Toby, had a strange obsession with dental floss. With every chance he got, the canine rummaged through the bathroom trash bin and picked out only the used strands of floss.

Finally!  Confirmation that Bear is part terrier.  He eats used kleenex.

I'm sure that this method of determining his lineage is at least as accurate as the doggie dna tests.

Five breeds were significantly more likely to have swallowed something they shouldn't have: Staffordshire bull terriers (by far the most likely), English bull terriers, Jack Russell terriers, Border collies and Springer spaniels.

Having had several springers (I grew up with the breed, and have one now), I can definitively say a springer will eat anything that is food, that smells like food, or that might possibly be food.
