Japan: Blind man who kicked guide dog barred from owning one for life

Ultimately, the man was barred from owning a guide dog for life, per the decision released by the Japan Guide Dog Association. His dog is now under the custody of Rescue Japanese Animal Victims.

When I read the article, I thought it might have been a mistake, but it wasn't. It was a definite kick, not a nudge with his foot and not a failure of perception as to where the dog was. What a rotten man.

I'm shocked this guy got a dog, and even more surprised the school didn't know about his abusive behaviour until now.
Accept the things you can not change, have the courage to change the things you can, and have the wisdom to know the difference.

 That dog looked TERRIFIED to move. I highly doubt the guy thought that was an actual cue. I cue can be as subtle as a click with your mouth or just moving forward like a normal person.
Potato quality human with a smarter-than-you-honor-student dog.
