I have noticed that my dog has been eating grass from our backyard I was hoping to ask if this is dangerous for my dog?

As someone who has worked in a vet clinic before - provided they don't ingest specifically poisonous plants, it should be fine. A lot of dogs do this when they're lacking in certain vitamins, as it's a natural instinct. If your dog does this a lot, you might think about researching and/or upgrading what you're feeding them.

Be sure it is grass that has not been sprayed with poisonous insecticides or weedkillers!  Many people do that on their lawns, as do businesses, etc.
