A Dog Named Slugger is an autobiographical memoir by Leigh Brill telling of her journey towards accepting her Cerebral Palsy, her service dog Slugger becoming a member of her family, and the impact her wonderful partner had on her. I totally recommend it to any fellow people with CP, those interested in service dogs, and anyone just looking for a good book!

She is working on a sequel about her dogs Kendra and Pato!  Her current dog is Piper.  She is truly an amazing person with the sweetest spirit!  Our current dogs came from the same program. Love her so very much!!!

Awesome! What's it called? Do you know when it'll be ready for purchase?

I don't, but I'll try to remember to ask.
