I would like to try some of the Showstopper so I will have to go and look for it. I 'm still researching other feed options in my area.

Cole suggests you look into steak.  He says it is very digestible and palatable and readily available at almost any grocery store.  As a vegetarian, I wouldn't know about palatability, but Luna and Ruby do second his recommendation.

Show Stopper is a nutritional supplement. This is the manufacturer's website. Warning: eye-bleedingly bright neon colors are used in the layout. You might want to copy and paste the text of the page into a text document so you can actually read it.

Showstopper is a very interesting effective food supplement. I got it when Nitro was getting older. Was stunning what it did for her.

Wisp is on it and her coat is killer . Makes the breeders drool over the thickness of her pelt. Her muscling is also awesome on it also. Wisp is always in coat with this stuff no matter the time of year.
It kept Arrow going a lot longer than the vet expected by 3 years with his compromised immune system/ arthritis issues and with it he at least had a  decent coat even if it was not as thick as should have been.
But before the showstopper he had such a thin coat all the time he would sunburn . It also made him more efficient on his food and gain muscle and keep it.

It depends on the regular food i have them on for how much I give them of it. Arrow got two scoops a day because he was on what was not a great food but it was the only food that he could eat with his issues.
Wisp gets one scoop because her food has a lot of the same ingredients as in the show stopper.
Cypher does not need it yet. When i switch her to the lower protein food then I will give her a single scoop a few times a week as she needs it during shedding/ hair growing season. It makes for a drop dead gorgeous under and outercoat when I do that.
I gave it to her when she was blowing her puppy coat. So her young adult coat came in very nice, correct, and very thick with undercoat for her age.

Alo will be on two scoops since she is on the pro plan dog food . It will help her thin coat and dry skin
issues . Just having her on it a few days has already made a huge difference in her skin and hair.  She got enough oil in her hide for me to be able to finally safely give her a bath without worrying about making it worse . Now she looks almost normal again .

It is just not an easy supplement to get around here. I have to special order it because I get it by the 4 and 7 lb cannisters. I do store it in a cool spot to preserve it's vitamin potency.  :paw:

Yay!  Thanks for the additional information. I must order some!  I'm a sucker for coat supplements that work.

Would Showstopper possibly help reduce the amount of hair Pebbles sheds? I love her to death, but I am having great difficulty keeping up with the sweeping up of all the hair tumbleweeds around my house.
How much does it usually run?

I've always been told that show stopper tends to make a dog gain a bit of weight and was wondering about that?  I have dogs that have no issues with gaining and have to be pretty careful.  I've always had inflight come very highly recommended from my show dog friends and know that it definitely stops the shedding in our lab.  Does anyone have any comparisons of the 2 products?

I haven't tried either one yet but I do give my adult dogs some milled flaxseed in their dinner and that seems to reduce shedding a lot. I will be trying the showstopper as soon as I can find some (am still looking locally but we're snowed in so its getting delayed) if I can't get it around here I will order it.

Wisp is an easy gainer. I have not had the showstopper make her gain. But then I have her food pretty restricted . Cypher has gained muscle but not fat on it and same with Alo. So their weight is more from muscle mass but their fat ratio on their frames  has not risen.

I am pretty sure it's a powder.
