That's great news!  I might be able to help you with a website for fundraising.  It will depend a little on what you wind up doing.  I have some pages on workndog.org for people doing fundraising for paying for a service dog or for expensive veterinary care for a very sick or retired service dog.  As you can see, I don't have a lot of time, but if it was a static page I could set up pretty quickly, or use a template....

At any rate, good for you for taking the steps to get your service dog and I wish you the absolute best of luck!

Thanks, Kirsten!
Any little help is greatly appreciated.

I'll keep everyone updated on how my application process is going and I'll get in touch with you about fundraising if I get selected into the program.

Thanks again, I really appreciate all the support.

I can help with a fundraising website if you don't have any experience building a website - let me know if you'll need any help.

We'll need to pick an URL for your site.  It will be something like this:  http://www.asher.workndog.org but you can replace "asher" with any name you prefer.  Just let me know what to call it and I'll set up an FTP account.  Lindsay is good at webpages and she knows how to FTP into my server.

If you do get accepted into the program you will have at least 12 months to fundraise, which is much longer than you will have to come up with funds to pay for a trainer!!!

The other thing to consider is this site, which providing the program is part of it, and most not for profits are, then you may be able to get a scholarship to help to pay for all or some of the costs.

Good Luck and keep us updated!!
