will the child be tethered to the dog in the playground too?

Isn't ADI an important influence in AU re: SD standards?

Do they support tethering?

I feel so sorry for the kid and the dog. This tethering children to dogs business is just a bad accident waiting to happen.

Here in America it is illegal to tether (tie) a kid to a chair or in their crib or bed. So I just don't get it why tying a kid to a dog that can bite, get in a fight, bolt and drag the kid, or attacked by a dog is acceptable.

The program concerned is an ADI accredited member.

They only produce dogs to my knowledge that are tethered to children despite promoting themselves as "assistance dogs for people with autism".
