Puppy Development book reccomendation?

(1/1)

Cera:
I'm looking for a straightforward but detailed book recommendation for puppy development.
What is your 'go to' book?

Kirsten:
Probably Dunbar's Sirius books and videos.  I think some are available free online.

Kirsten:
Dunbar is the one who invented the concept of puppy kindergarten and is the father of lure training (my preferred mode of training for puppies up to at least six months of age).  He's very good at covering key topics and explaining them in terms anyone can understand and apply.  He is a licensed veterinarian and world-renowned behaviorist.

I have a book called Ain't Misbehaving by John C Wright. It has info about cats and dogs. It goes into developmental stages of both cats and dogs it also explains how to train them to be more like we want them to be in a positive way.
