*giggles* It was BATH DAY!!!
« on: October 01, 2006, 05:58:48 PM »
I found a few fleas on one of my cats, so... it was bath day.  Filled the tub, put the bathing collar on the kitty, and plop, right into the tub.  Sylver, has never had a bath, but he handled it very well.  He only growled at me a few times, but no clawing or biting.  When he was out, I was even able to use the highpowered dryer (the one that was given to me for the dogs) on him.  Evie, well, she has had baths before, but it has been awhile.  She howled like someone was torturing her, but, like Sylver, no biting (no claws in front feet, so no ability to claw).  She freaked when I tried the dryer, so, I towel dried.

The dogs got bathed a few days ago, in preperation for their monthly flea treatment (which is given almost every first of the month).  They got treated for fleas, and tonight after I go to bed, mom is going to lay Borax (sp?) on the floor to kill any loose fleas.  The other kitties don't get bathed, they don't really share any space with my cats or dogs, but since Sylver and Evie sleep with Razel and Roxie, they got the bath.  *giggles* Seeing how thin our kitties tails are really makes you laugh.  Rat tails!

Now, lets not forget the ones who didn't make it, they will always be in my heart.
