:trx: Only place i can get the Pinnacle from is the local feed store . I cant order on line ,dont have credit cards .
The trout and sweet potatoe has been running about 50 but with county tax is 55$.
Petco is a 120 mile round trip to get there so I save $20 on gas costs with getting it local.  :paw:

Phineas is  on California Naturals Lamb and Rice. He's been on it for quite some time because he has difficulty maintaining weight on a chicken based food.

I'll be keeping him on that for a few months and I might poke around and look for something different, but it's not an expensive food. I got a 30lb bag for $40 from petfooddirect and I had free shipping when I got some of his other stuff too.

I have Sophie on Canidae and   I get it at the local feed store and  it is  fourty bucks a bag, but I can't remember how many pounds are in the bag.   She gets  three cups a day total and   the bag lasts  six to eight weeks.

Also   food swtiching not only depends on the   prices and  availablility of food but also the dogs  ability to swtich to various foods.

If you have a Costco you can consider Natures Domain. It is similar to TOTW, just with fewer meat ingredients and thus slightly less protein. It is still grain-free and fairly decent and is made by the same company as TOTW, diamond. I have fed it in the past and will feed it again, though I usually feed TOTW. Here, a thirty pound bag of TOTW is around forty five bucks, and the ND is about forty bucks for the same size. They also have the grain inclusive Kirkland brand food which is pretty similar to Canidae.

Kirkland is actually IDENETICAL to diamond Naturals. Same company, different bag.

Nope, Canidae is a different company.

Amazon.com sells TOTW for like $40-$45 for a 30lb bag PLUUUSSS free shipping!  I have ordered from them before for my aunt and uncles dogs and the food is always really fresh too!  I have not seen it cheaper anywhere else and they regularily have sales on there too!  I just looked and they sell just about all the brands that others have listed.

Im actually glad you posted this too though because it was something that I was wondering about too.  Seeing as I only helped order TOTW for my aunt and uncle, I didnt know that you feed your dogs less of the grain-free than the crappy brands!!
