Pet friendly apartments are easy to find (at least in the city/suburbia...I've never lived anywhere rural)

I've lived pretty much only in rural areas, mostly rentals. It's not super easy to find the places but the properties are way more awesome - houses usually and super lax pet policies if they allow them. Basically what I've found is, if they allow "inside" pets, they go all they way and really don't care.

Most of these places you find by driving around looking for the "for rent" signs, or by word of mouth. It's like finding a good puppy - most of the good ones don't have to advertise in the paper.

I agree that you should be disabled and under some kind of care and an MD says it is needed to help you

I don't think "beingg under care" at least in the typical sense should be a requirement. For example, I sm not under the care of anyone for my ASD right now - I tried to discuss it with my doctor in January and he pretty much said there's nothing we can do (one because there isn't a ton to do, but also because things like OT that we could do I can't do because my insurance doesn't cover it).

Gavroche has done SO MUCH for me over the past few years. I don't know where I'd be without him.
