I had a horse bite me--I swatted, missed the horse who hit her head on a beam...you know she has never offered to bite me since.

Bulls are not typically put under to be castrated neither are goats.

Sometimes old fashion methods are better...and still humane, but cost effective too.

I had a horse swing around and hit me in the head with her head b/c I wasn't being fast enough for her with dumping her feed. She got a few swats for that and didn't repeat the action.

In my Sheep and Goats class, I had to help with catching and banding (a form of castration) baby goats --along with trimming hooves and giving tetanus shots to those who were banded. Most humane way to castrate 20 or so kids.
Partnered with Leon --successor to Pebbles.
