Pannus (Eyes) and a nutrional approach
« on: August 02, 2006, 05:40:41 AM »
I'm currently trying to put together some info on a nutional approach to help improve this condition. I have a 4 year old male GSD that was diagnosed with Pannus right around his 4th birthday. The traditional treatment is with various eye medications.

Speaking with several other GSD owners several of us have had a marked improvement with our dogs by adding vitamins to their diets. I'll be posting more on this thread soon with some research from various sources and also some of my own thoughts.

If anyone here has ever had a dog with Pannus, I would love for you to join in on this thread with your experiences. And since this is the Food and Nutrition area lets try to keep our main attention on those factors.
