Puppy Pops
« on: June 12, 2006, 02:04:40 PM »
Just wanted to share a summer treat that I have always given my dogs

Puppy pops

Just mix equal amounts of water and salt free low fat chicken or beef broth and pour it into paper cups (bathroom size for pups and small breeds) and freeze... it's that simple!  I have yet to find a dog that doesn't like to chew ice cubes in the summer and these make a great summer treat.

You can even use vegetable broth instead of chicken or beef or place baby carrots in the pops for an added crunch. :purpleblob:
my pack:
Lilly- 7 yr old Lhasa Apso princess
Tango- 3 yr old Lhasa Apso commedian
Loki- 7 month old long hair Chihuahua SDIT
