Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS)

If a person wants to know what a law really means, they make a study of cases where that law has been applied and interpreted by judges. The highest court in the United States is the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). No court can overturn a decision made by the Supreme Court, though the Supreme Court can overturn any decision by any lower court.
